The legend of Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig is one that transcends the game of baseball and is a story that has taken on mythological proportions. For the great many of us who never had the chance to see them play, it is often hard to imagine that they truly existed. The pair formed baseball's most devastating one-two punch and became the very heart of New York and the Yankees organization. Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig have added their signature to the east panel, both in black fountain pen with Ruth rating an 8 and Gehrig a 7. The ball is heavily toned and a clear protective coat has been added to preserve the sigs. It is rare to have both of these icons signatures on the same panel of a ball, displays extremely well. Ball is VG-EX, accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
