On the left front tail is the “Russell” manufacturer’s tag with Steiner hologram sticker affixed. Attached are two flag tags with “100% Polyester 50” and “4” Extra Length. Adjacent is a year tag with “Y0”. On the left breast is the team interlocking “NY” logo. Player number “17” appears on back. All these numbers and letters are done in navy blue tackle twill. On the left sleeve is a black armband worn in memory of Bob Lemon. On the right sleeve is the official “2000 World Series” embroidered patch. At the rear neck is the official MLB embroidered logo patch. Gooden has signed the front in blue marker adding the inscription “Game Used 2000 World Series”. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as team-issued and in our opinion, shows no use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA for the signature.
