This cap is quite unique. It has the distinction of being worn by two NY Yankees fan favorites, Bobby Murcer and Graig Nettles. On the inner sweatband is the “New Era” manufacturer’s tag with adjacent “7-1/4” flag tag. Inside the front panel is Nettles number “9” written twice in black marker. Under the bill is “2 MURCER” in black marker. The cap is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows heavy use with sweat staining.
