Jim McDonnell pitched 3 seasons for the Indians and wore a different number each season. He only wore number “14” in 1945. Inside the rear collar is the “Wilson” manufacturer’s tag with attached size “40” flag tag. Above is the “Lowe & Campbell” tag. Below is a grey strip tag with “McDonnell” done in navy chain stitch. Across the front is “Cleveland”. Player number “14” appears on back. All these numbers and letters are done in red on navy felt. On the left sleeve is the “Stars and Stripes” embroidered patch. Inside the rear waistband are the same “Wilson” tag with “Lowe & Campbell” tags. Adjacent is a grey strip tag with the coaches name “Shotten” done in navy chain stitch. Attached is the size “36” size tag. Burt Shotten was a coach on the 1945 Indians. The uniform is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows excellent use. All original, magnificent condition.
