Bo Belinsky threw the first no-hitter in the history of the Los Angeles Angels and the first one at Dodger Stadium, beating the Baltimore Orioles 2–0 on May 5, 1962. Within days of his no-hitter Belinsky would be heralded as sport's most original and engaging playboy-athlete," pitcher-turned-journalist Pat Jordan wrote in a Sports Illustrated profile. "His name would become synonymous with a lifestyle that was cool and slick and dazzling. This uniform originates from the family of a teammate. Inside the rear collar is the “Rawlings” manufacturer’s tag with size “44”. On the left front tail is “Belinski” (misspelled) along with “44 63”. Inside the left front tail is a wash instructions tag with attached “SET 1 1963” flag tag. Across the front is “ANGELS”. Player number “36” appears on back. All numbers and letters are done in red on navy felt. Inside the rear waistband of the matching pants is the same “Rawlings” yag with size “34” Attached is a flag tag with “SET 1 1963”. Adjacent is a wash instructions label and felt strip tag with “Belinski 34 2 8ins” embroidered in green chain stitch. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows appropriate use. All original, magnificent condition.
