The 1961 New York Yankees were one of the more dominating teams in baseball history. They won 109 games that season, as Roger Maris broke Babe Ruth’s home run mark by belting 61. OAL Cronin baseball with 27 signatures including Mickey Mantle and Yogi Berra on the sweet spot, each rating a 6 as well as Roger Maris on the south panel rating a 6-7. Other Yankee signatures include Whitey Ford, Luis Arroyo, Tex Clevenger, Rollie Sheldon, Joe DeMaestri, Tony Kubek, Bill Dickey (coach), Jim Coates, Johnny Blanchard, Bill Skowron, Bob Cerv, Hector Lopez, Eston Howard, Billy Gardner, Bill Stafford, Ralph Houk (mngr), Jim Hegan (coach) and Frank Crosetti (coach).
