The Boston Red Sox slugging tandem of Jimmie Foxx and Joe Cronin are captured in this vintage 8” x 10” photograph. Each Hall of Famer has penned his signature across the image, with ink that has combined with the photograph’s surface to create brittle emulsion. The result is a “flaking” that follows each player’s application of ink, creating an unusual “etched” signature of each player. Photo is EX, accompanied by a LOA from JSA for the signatures.
