The Dick Groat is the scarcest Hartland baseball statues, as compared to an estimated 150,000 made for most of the other statues. Our consignor got this signed in person this past year and was told by Mr. Groat that he had previously signed 3 or 4 of these original statues. The Hartland baseball series of statues were sold in stores like Woolworths from 1958 through 1962. Plastic figure standing eight inches tall, signed by Dick Groat in the left leg in black marker rating a 7-8. NM overall, bat included. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
