On September 9th 2009 a New York Yankees championship season, Captain Derek Jeter obtained his 2,721th hit tying Lou Gehrig for career hits all as a Bronx Bomber. This is 2nd base used during the 6th-8th innings of this historic game. It is a “schutt” manufactured “Original HOLLYWOOD BASES JACK CORBETT” base which is signed “Derek Jeter” on the left side in black marker rating a 7, and inscribed on right side in black marker “2721”. The “YANKEE STADIUM 2009 INAUGURAL SEASON” logo appears on each side of the base. Written in black marker on a back corner is “9-9-09 2nd BASE Ties Record”, with an MLB, and two Steiner holograms affixed below. The base shows game use, and is accompanied by: a Yankees Steiner LOA, a Steiner Autograph COA, an MLB hologram, and a JSA LOA.
