The 1974 NHL All-Star Game was held on January 29, 1974 at Chicago Stadium. Bobby Orr did not play in this game. He was injured in a regular season game just days prior by Bill Barber of the Philadelphia Flyers at the Boston Garden. This sweater was made for Bobby Orr. Inside the rear collar is the “Gerry Cosby” tag with wash instructions. Attached is the size “48” label. On front in the center is a large “NHL” embroidered crest. Above to both the left and right are two “NHL” embroidered logo’s inside a white tackle twill star with a black embroidered border. On back and on both sleeves is player number “4” done in black on white tackle twill. Player name “ORR” appears across the back in black tackle twill with a white embroidered border sewn directly on the sweater. On both shoulders is the “NHL” embroidered logo. Across the front and back tails are three white tackle twill stars with a black embroidered border. This shirt was erroneously sold by us ten years ago as game-used The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-issued and in our opinion, shows no use.
