This size 10.25, 10k gold ring weighs 29 grams and was presented to three-time World Champion Azumah Nelson after he successfully defended his WBC super featherweight title against his student, Jeff Fenech, on February 29, 1992. Azumah Nelson held the WBC super featherweight title for over six years, successfully defending his title in ten fights. The top panel of the ring reads “WORLD CHAMPION” surrounding the face which features a gold boxer atop “WBC” encrusted in synthetic diamonds, two round-cut synthetic diamonds and a banner made up of additional synthetic diamonds. The face also features two synthetic diamonds, four green synthetic stones and four red synthetic stones, all princess-cut. The right panel reads “WORLD BOXING COUNCIL” arching over a casted image of a boxing glove and the left panel reads “WBC” in relief. The sides of the ring are adorned with 118 small round-cut diamonds. The inside of the ring is stamped “AZUMAH NELSON FEB 29TH, 1992”. The ring is in NRMT condition and is accompanied by the original presentation box.
