This unwashed shirt has been photo and video matched to the first half of the game on December 13, 2009 vs. the Bengals when Favre threw one touchdown pass. The jersey is hemmed straight across the bottom with an elastic hem. Player number “4” appears on the front, back and on both sleeves in white tackle twill with a yellow embroidered border. Player name “FAVRE” appears on back in white tackle twill on a purple nameplate. The team “Viking” patch is embroidered above. The sleeves are custom with Reebok logo patches. There are no manufacturer’s tags present. Inside the rear collar are two strip tags with “09-48” and “Q”. On the right chest is the Captain’s “C” with one star embroidered in gold. At the V-neck is the “NFL Equipment” logo shield with “VIKINGS” embroidered below. There is staining on back number which appears to be blood. Favre has signed the back number adding the inscription “Game Used 12/13/09 Bengals 10 Vikes 30” in black marker rating an 8. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows excellent use. Other than what is mentioned, there appears to be no further alterations of any kind. It is accompanied by a Brett Favre LOA along with a photo of Favre holding the shirt. Further accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
