Size 11.5, 10k gold ring weighs 23 grams. The top panel reads “NATIONAL CHAMPIONS FOOTBALL” surrounding the casted image of a banner that reads “THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS”, “1969”, a longhorn cow and a round-cut synthetic diamond. Both the left and right shanks are blank, featuring the same carved texture on each panel. The inside of the ring is stamped “JOHN ROBERTS JR 10K” and “XLCB”. This design was used in the final design for Texas’ 1969 Championship ring as well as their 1970 Championship ring. This very scarce salesman's sample ring is in MINT condition.
