The AF2 was the name of the Arena Football Leagues developmental league. The Quad City Steamwheelers won 24 straight games during the 2000 and 2001 seasons, taking home the ArenaCup in the first two years of the league’s existence. This size 10, 10k gold players ring weighs 41 grams. The top panel of the ring reads “2001 ARENA FOOTBALL CHAMPIONS” surrounding two round-cut synthetic diamonds, a pair of red enameled flames and a football with “QC” engraved in the center. The left panel features a banner with the player name “THOMPSON” above the Quad City Steamwheelers logo in relief. The right panel reads “BACK TO BACK” along with the AF2 logo and “CHAMPIONS 18-1” in relief. The inside of the ring is stamped “10K”. The ring is in NRMT condition.
