This trophy was presented to Hall of Famer Calvin Murphy in 1966 after being selected as the MVP of the Dapper Dan Roundball Classic MVP trophy. Founded in 1965, the Roundball Classic was the first national high school all-star game. The trophy weighs 3.5 lbs., stands 21-1/2” tall with an 8” x 5” wooden base. The trophy features a basketball player a the top along with two eagles and a plaque on the front reads “DAPPER DAN ROUNDBALL CLASSIC - APRIL, 1, 1966 - M.V.P. U.S. TEAM”. The trophy is in EX condition and is accompanied by a LOA from Calvin Murphy.
