This plated pewter cylindrical trophy comes to us from Bobby Jones. It stands 15” tall and weighs 4.5 pounds. The trophy was given by Seagrams to Bobby Jones of the Denver Nuggets in February of 1977. Jones was presented this trophy as being selected as the basketball recipient that month, along with six other athletes in their respective sports. Jones went on to receive the Basketball Champion award by Seagrams for 1977. The trophy is engraved “BOBBY JONES - SEAGRAMS 7 CROWNS OF SPORTS - BASKETBALL - FEBRUARY 1977”. Around the trophy, above the engraving, are seven 1.5” circular engravings that represent the seven sports honored by the award; basketball, golf, hockey, baseball, tennis, horse racing, and football. The Seagrams Seven and Crown logo sits atop the cylinder. The bottom of the trophy is stamped “Silver Creations Ltd. PEWTER”. The trophy is accompanied by a LOA from Bobby Jones.
