This jacket was issued to and worn by Billy Paultz during the 1974-75 season with the ABA NY Nets. It was then issued and worn by Bill Melchionni during the 1975-76 season with the Ladner patch removed. Inside the front snaps is the “Rawlings” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and size “44”. “25” is written in black marker. Adjacent is a felt strip tag with “5” in white chain stitch. On back is “NEW YORK” in white tackle twill. The Wendell Ladner patch was removed from the left sleeve. The warm-up jacket is properly tagged, was presented to us as worn and in our opinion, shows wear. Other than what is mentioned, there appear to be no further alterations of any kind.
