Moses Eugene Malone was a three-time NBA MVP and one of the NBA's 50 greatest player. He was the most successful prep-to-pro player of his era, going straight from Petersburg High to a 21-year career in professional basketball. By the time Malone retired after 19 seasons in the NBA he was the last former ABA player active and held numerous distinctions in both leagues, including a championship ring and NBA finals trophy won with the 1983 Philadelphia 76ers. Hall of Fame, Class of 2001. On the left front tail is the “Champion” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and jersey size “48”. Adjacent is a second “Champion” tag with “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for Philadelphia 76ers 1993-1994 Body Length +3”. Across the front is “PHILA”. Player number “2” appears on the front and back. All numbers and letters are done in red on white tackle twill. Player name “MALONE”appears on back in white tackle twill. Moses has signed the front number in black marker rating a 7. On the left breast is the official NBA embroidered logo. Inside the rear waistband is a single “Champion” tag with wash instructions and size “38”. Player number “2” is written in black marker. Moses has signed the outer front waistband in bold, black marker with added inscription “#2” rating an 8. Inside the rear seam are three flag tags, “2 Inch Extra Rise”, “2” Extra Inseam” and “100% Nylon”. The uniform is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows light use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
