Larry Steele won an NBA Championship with the Portland Trailblazers and had his number “15” jersey retired by the team. On the left front tail is the “Sand-Knit” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and jersey size “42”. Directly above is a second “Sand-Knit” tag with “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the Portland Trailblazers”. Across the front is “Portland”. Player number “15” appears on both the front and back. All these numbers and letters are done in white on black tackle twill. Player name “STEELE” appears across the back in white tackle twill with a black embroidered border. Steele has signed the front twill in black marker rating a 7. On the inner waistband of the matching shorts are the same two “Sand-Knit” tags with size “36”. Number “30” is written in black marker. It was common practice in those days for shorts to be interchangeable. On the left leg is the team embroidered patch. The uniform is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows excellent use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
