This trophy stand 20-1/2” tall and weighs 5 lbs. It was presented to Moses Malone when he was selected as the MVP of the 1974 Dapper Dan Roundball Classic, the national High School All-Star Game and the equivalent to today’s McDonald’s All-Star Game. The trophy features a brass basketball player and cup atop a 4-1/2” wooden cube base. An engraved plaque on the base reads “PGH. POST GAZETTE - DAPPER DAN ROUNDBALL CLASSIC - 1974 M.V.P. - U.S. ALL-STARS”. Trophy is in EX condition and is accompanied by an LOA from Malone’s family.
