A part of the “Big Red Machine”, Concepcion’s number “13” was retired by the Reds. On the left front tail is the “Wilson” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and jersey size “40”. Inside the same tail is a grey strip tag with “79 1” embroidered in red chain stitch indicating jersey year and set, respectively. Across the front is “CINCINNATI”. Player number “13” appears on both the front and back. Player name “CONCEPCION” appears across the back from sleeve to sleeve. All these numbers and letters are done in red tackle twill. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent use.
