Gaylord Perry pitched for the Giants in 1971 wearing number 36 and left after the 1971 season. In 1972, Dave Kingman wore number 26 for the Giants. On the left front tail is the “Wilson” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and jersey size “46”. Below is a strip tag with “1971”. Inside the rear collar is a felt strip tag with player name “Perry” embroidered in black chain stitch. Number “26” is written adjacent in black marker. Across the front is “GIANTS”. Number “26” appears on back which has a number change from Perry’s “36”. All numbers and letters are done in black felt on orange tackle twill. Perry has signed the front in blue marker rating a 6. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA. Other than what is mentioned, there appear to be no further alterations of any kind.
