In a 23 year career, “Rock” Raines played in 2,502 games accumulating 2,605 hits, a .294 career batting average along with 170 home runs, 980 runs batted in, a .385 on base percentage. Raines stole at least 70 bases in each of his first six full seasons (1981–1986), leading the National League in stolen bases each season from 1981 to 1984. Inside the rear collar is the “Rawlings” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and jersey size “42”. Attached is a white flag tag with “1” Shorter”. Inside the right front tail is a flag tag with “SET 1 1981”. On the left chest is the team logo done in red, white and blue tackle twill. Directly underneath is “expos”. Player number “30” appears on both the front and back. Player name “RAINES” appears on back. All these numbers and letters are done in red tackle twill. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use.
