Michael Jack Schmidt was a twelve-time All-Star, ten-time Gold Glove Award winner, eight-time HR champion, World Series Champion and won the NL MVP three times. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1995. On the left front tail is the “Wilson” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and attached size “44” flag tag. Attached is a flag tag with “TAPERED”. Below is a strip tag with “85 2” embroidered in navy chain stitch. Inside the rear collar is a strip tag with “Schmidt” embroidered in navy chain stitch. On the left chest is the team “P” logo. Player number “20” appears on both the front and back. Player name “SCHMIDT” appears on back on a powder blue nameplate. All numbers and letters are done in burgundy on white tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the team disc patch. The front is a full zipper. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows excellent use.
