On the left front tail is the “Wilson” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and size “40”. Above is a grey flannel strip tag with “Casey Stengel” embroidered in navy blue chain stitch. On the right front tail is a white label with “A4500 Shirt X65-Pattern 4 oz. Albany 60% Wool 40% Nylon”. Inside the rear collar is a second “Wilson” tag with wash instructions and size “40”. Across the front is “NEW YORK”. Number “37” appears on both the front and back. All numbers and letters are done in blue on orange felt. On the left sleeve is the team disc patch. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as a salesman’s sample and in our opinion, shows no use.
