Lot consisting of Tony Perez’s 1980-82 player contract with the Boston Red Sox and various correspondences between the team and Perez’s lawyer. The contract itself has been signed twice by Perez with his rare full name signature “Atanacio Perez” in black ink rating a 9 overall. Also included is a contract addendum hand-signed by Lee MacPhail dated July 21, 1980. TLS dated June 27, 1980 from Perez’s lawyer to the Red Sox mentioning that Perez is leading the league in RBI and requesting a copy of his revised contract. TLS dated 9/13/82 from Perez’s lawyer detailing the teams which Perez would accept an assignment to. All of the papers are in EX condition. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
