These items were all sourced directly from the Nelson family. Two practice shirts from Nelson’s years at the University of Iowa. Both shirts read “IOWA ATHLETIC DEPT.” Included is a newspaper clipping from February 10, 1961 showing Nelson and two of his Hawkeye teammates wearing this style shirt. 13” x 10” All-American award certificate presented to Don Nelson as a member of the 1962 All-America basketball team. 8” x 10” black and white photo of Don Nelson in his Celtics uniform, photo is in NRMT condition. Green Boston Celtics laundry bag signed by Nelson in black marker rating a 7 overall, NRMT condition. Wooden award plaque measuring 8-1/2” x 9-1/2”, enameled in blue, black, navy, red and white presented to Don Nelson by the 13th Air Force at Clark Air Base. 8” x 10” black and white team photo of the 1966-67 Boston Celtics with 13 autographs: Bailey Howell, Don Nelson, Tom Sanders, Larry Siegfried, Tony Kimball, Wayne Embry, Ronny Watts, Jim Barnett, Joe DeLauri (trainer), John Havlicek, K.C. Jones, Bill Russell (ch) and Sam Jones. All of the signatures are done in black marker and rate a strong 8 overall. The photo is in NRMT condition and is accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
