Calvin Murphy played as a guard for the San Diego/Houston Rockets from 1970-1983. Standing at a height of 5 feet 9 inches, Murphy has the distinction of being the shortest player inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame. His number “23” has been retired by the Rockets and in 1993 he was elected to the Hall of Fame. This jersey originates from Calvin Murphy. On the right front tail is the “Rawlings” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and jersey size “38”. Across the front is “ROCKets”. Player number “23” appears on both the front and back. Player name “Murphy” appears across the back. All numbers and letters are done in red tackle twill. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a LOA from Calvin Murphy.
