Measuring 80” x 45”, this “CHICAGO BEARS” flag shows some fraying at the ends, EX overall condition. Accompanied by a LOA which states, in part “In 1968 I was in the US Navy aboard a training ship in Chicago. In 1960, when the ship came to Chicago...the Bears took this flag down from Wrigley Field and gave it to the USS Parle, it was flown at Wrigley before the Bears moved to Soldier Field. The ship was decommissioned in 1970...I mailed the flag home for safe keeping...my former sister in law had the flag for 30 years and mailed it back to me”.
