The Florida Gators with already legendary QB Tim Tebow overcame the toughest schedule in the nation by opponent winning percentage to become National Champions for the 2006 season. Tebow made his SEC debut against the Tennessee Volunteers on September 16. His performance included a ten-yard run on his first carry and converting a critical fourth down near the end of the game, which led to the Gators' go-ahead touchdown. Tebow's biggest game in the season came against the LSU Tigers on October 7, where he accounted for all three of the Gators' touchdowns, passing for two and rushing for another. On the left front tail is the size “44” tag with attached flag tag “S”. Player number “15” appears on the front, back and on both shoulders in white tackle twill with an orange and blue embroidered border. Player name “TEBOW” appears on back in white heat transferred vinyl block letters on a blue nameplate which has been restored. The sleeves are custom cut and feature an elastic spandex hem. At the V-neck is the “SEC” logo patch. At the right chest is the Nike swoosh. At the left chest is the “Gators 100 Years” patch. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as bench worn and in our opinion, shows no use. Other than what is mentioned, there appear to be no further alterations of any kind.
