The last quarterback of the Quarterback Class of 1983 to be taken in the first round, Dan Marino became one of the most prolific quarterbacks in league history, holding or having held almost every major NFL passing record. He is recognized as one of the greatest quarterbacks in football history. Best remembered for his quick release and powerful arm, Marino led the Dolphins to the playoffs ten times in his seventeen-season career. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2005. On the left front tail is the “Champion” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and size “XL”. Attached are flag tags with “3” Deeper Armhole” and “2” Extra Body Length”. Player number “13” appears on the front, back and on both shoulders painted on in white with an orange outline. Player name “MARINO” appears on back in painted on white block letters on a teal nameplate. Marino has signed the back number in black marker adding the inscription “13” rating a 6-7 with light bleeding. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a PC Collectibles LOA as well as a LOA from JSA.
