Dick Butkus was drafted in 1965 and he is also widely regarded as one of the best and most durable linebackers of all time. He became a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1979. He played nine seasons in the NFL for the Chicago Bears. Billed at 6 ft 3 in, 245 lbs., he was one of the most feared and intimidating linebackers of his time. On the left front tail is the “Wilson” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and jersey size “48”. Player number “51” appears on the front, back and on both sleeves. Player name “BUTKUS” appears across the back on a navy blue nameplate. All numbers and letters are done in white on orange tackle twill. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows outstanding use with numerous team repairs. A great example, completely hammered
