While playing for the Dallas Cowboys, Emmitt Smith, quarterback Troy Aikman, and wide receiver Michael Irvin were known as "The Triplets," and led their team to three Super Bowl Championships during the 1990s. Smith is the NFL All-Time leading rusher with 18,355 and holds the record for career rushing TD’s (164) and 100 yard games (78). He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2010. “Riddell” manufactured silver helmet with the Cowboys “Star” logo decal on each side. The clips on front have the year “92”. On back is “COWBOYS” decal covering the “Riddell” outer padding. “E. SMITH” appears vertically on back on blue dynotape. Adjacent is the “NFL” logo shield which appears to be covering another decal along with the “American M” sticker. On the inner dome is the “VSR-4” label along with the size “L 7-1/4 – 7-3/4” label. All inner padding is intact along with the chin strap and facemask. Emmitt has signed the left outer dome in blue marker adding the inscription “#22” rating a 5-6. The helmet was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows light use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA and backed by a LOA from PSA/DNA.
