This jersey was worn on October 19, 2008 vs. the Cleveland Browns. The tails of the shirt were cut, folded inside and rehemmed with no manufacturer’s tags remaining. The jersey is shortened. Inside the rear collar is a strip tag with “08-44”. Player number “26” appears on the front, back and on both sleeves in burgundy tackle twill with a yellow embroidered border. Player name “PORTIS” appears across the back in burgundy tackle twill on a white nameplate. The sleeves are shortened with an elastic spandex hem and feature the “Reebok” logo patch. At the V-neck is the “NFL Equipment” logo shield with adjacent “REDSKINS” patch. The jersey is sans manufacturer tagging, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows outstanding use. Other than what is mentioned, there appear to be no further alterations of any kind. Accompanied by a Redskins COA.
