Phil Simms was drafted in the first round by the New York Giants with the number seven selection overall in the 1979 NFL Draft. Simms played his entire professional career with the Giants and was named the MVP of Super Bowl XXI, after he led the Giants to a 39–20 victory over the Denver Broncos and set the record for highest completion percentage in a super bowl, going 22 for 25. He is a member of the NY Giants Ring of Honor. On the left front tail is the “Ripon” manufacturer’s tag. Above is the “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for New York Giants” tag. On the right front tail is the “Gerry Cosby” distributor’s tag with attached “46’ and “Long” flag tags. Player number “11” appears on the front, back and on both sleeves painted on in blue with a red border. Player name “SIMMS” appears on back in heat transferred blue vinyl block letters on a white nameplate. At the V-neck is the official “NFL” logo shield. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows light use. Accompanied by an additional LOA.
