Tony Pérez was a key member of Cincinnati's "Big Red Machine". He finished his career with a .279 batting average, 379 home runs, 1652 runs batted in and 1272 runs scored. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2000. On the left front tail is the “W.A. Goodman” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and jersey size “44”. Attached is a flag tag with “LONG” and “1”” written in red ink. On the left chest is the team “REDS” logo done in white on red tackle twill. Player number “24” appears on both the front and back. Player name “PEREZ” appears across the back. All these numbers and letters are done in red on white tackle twill. Inside the rear waistband of the matching pants is the same “Goodman” tag with size “36”. Adjacent is a strip tag with “PEREZ 36-23 SET E ‘85” indicating player name, pants size, inseam, set and year, respectively. The uniform is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows light use.
