Hammerin’ Hank was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1982. 1966 was the first year it Atlanta for the Braves. On the rear inner sweat band is the “Wilson” manufacturer’s tag. Adjacent is the size “7-1/4” stamped in black. Underneath the sweat band is the size “7-1/4” along with the date code “JYC” indicating a manufacture date of February, 1966. Player number “44” is written under the bill in black marker. The cap is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows excellent use with sweat staining on the inner band.
