“Official League” baseball signed on the sweet spot by Babe Ruth in bold, blue ink rating a strong 9, very dark and thick signature, with one slight blemish in the form of a nick on the sweet spot near the “t” in “Ruth”. The ball is toned throughout and has begun to separate at the seams, not affecting the single displayability. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA as well as a LOA which states, in part “Later in his career, Babe Ruth came to Hartford for an exhibition.
