Reginald Martinez Jackson earned the nickname “Mr. October” while wearing pinstripes. He led the Yankees to back to back Championships in 1977 and 1978. His crowning achievement came with his three-home-run performance in World Series-clinching Game Six, each on the first pitch, off three different Dodger pitchers. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1993. On the left front tail is the “Wilson” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and size “44”. Inside the rear collar is a grey strip tag with “Jackson 77 1” embroidered in navy blue chain stitch. Across the front is “NEW YORK”. Player number “44” appears on back. All numbers and letters are done in navy on white tackle twill. Reggie has signed both the front and back in blue marker adding the inscription “44” each rating a 6-7. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows excellent use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
