The 1999 New York Yankees rolled through the regular season winning 98 games on the way to facing their familiar rivals, the Atlanta Braves, in the World Series. As usual the Yanks put on a mighty display, sweeping the Braves in four straight games. This trophy represents the New York Yankees championship victory in 1999 and displays the glory and grandeur of going all the way. The trophy stands 12” tall at the highest flag and weighs 5.6 lbs. The trophy features a gold crown atop a centerpiece ring with a silver baseball, surrounded by 26 gold flag with black enameled lettering on the stanchions, one for each Major League team. The two World Series teams’ press pins are mounted on the black base that measures approximately 7” x 7” x 2.5”. The brass band surrounding the base reads “WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS NEW YORK YANKEES 1999”. The trophy is in NRMT condition.
