Alvin Dark managed the Indians from 1968-71. On the left front tail is the “Wilson” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and size “44”. Below is a strip tag with “1970” embroidered in red chain stitch. Across the front is “INDIANS”. Number “5” appears on back. All numbers and letters are done in blue on white on red tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the “Chief Wahoo” embroidered patch. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as manager’s worn and in our opinion, shows wear.
