Carl Yastrzemski played his entire 23-year baseball career with the Boston Red Sox (1961–1983). He was an 18 time All-Star, the possessor of seven Gold Gloves a member of the 3000 hit club and won the AL Triple Crown in 1967. Hall of Fame, Class of 1989. This shirt originates from the personal collection of Hall of Famer Wade Boggs. Inside the center front tail is the “McAuliffe” manufacturer’s tag. Above is the “1974” year label and below the size “42” label. Adjacent is a wash instructions label. Across the front is “RED SOX”. Player number “8” appears on back. All these numbers and letters are done in red on navy tackle twill. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows excellent use. Accompanied by a LOA from Wade Boggs as well as a photo of him holding the shirt.
