Two awards originating from the personal collection of Orel Hershiser. The first is a wooden award that measures 9” x 12” and weighs 2 lbs. It was presented to Hershiser after he was selected as the NL Player of the Week for July 28-August 3, 1986, thanks to a 10-strikeout complete game on July 28. The plaque features the NL logo along with “NATIONAL LEAGUE PLAYER OF THE WEEK” screenprinted in black, and “OREL HERSHISER Los Angeles Dodgers” which has been engraved. The second award also measures 9” x 12” and features a plaque that has been engraved to read “OREL HERSHISER Pitcher of The Year - 1984 - L.A. Dodgers - From the B.B.W.A.A. February 12, 1985”. Adjacent to the left is a screen printed photo of Hershiser mid-pitch. Both awards are in NRMT condition and accompanied by a LOA from Orel Hershiser.
