There are 120 cards included in this black and white set that measures 3-1/4” x 5-3/8” that were originally offered as premiums in candy stores. The set includes individual player cards, cards featuring multiple players and action shots. Thirty of the cards feature HOFers, with the highlights being another of the earliest cards of Joe DiMaggio an action shot which is graded 5.5 by PSA/DNA and a portrait of Casey Stengel graded 6 by PSA. According to PSA population reports, of the 51 DiMaggio’s that have been graded, only six were higher than the offered here with the median being a 3 and on the Stengel, 17 have been graded with the median a 4, only three have been graded higher than the offered here. Other key cards include Connie Mack and John McGraw as well as those of Honus Wagner and Joe Cronin (stamped on the back as belonging to legendary collector Buck Barker.
