Pass dating to one of Babe Didrikson’s first golf exhibition appearances on July 28, 1935 at the Webhannet Golf Club, in Kennebunk Beach, Maine. Didrikson had only just taken up the sport that she became most famous for at the time. The pass measures approximately 4-3/4” x 2-3/8”, it reads “GOLF EXHIBITION - WEBHANNET GOLF CLUB KENNEBUNK BEACH, MAINE - JULY 28, 1935 - ADMISSION $1.00 TAX .10 TOTAL $1.10”. Gene Sarazen and Babe Didrikson have signed the verso, both signatures are done in pencil and rate a 8 overall. There is a third signature, “E. Ward”, in steel-tip fountain pen that is of unknown origin. The pass is accompanied by a full JSA LOA.
