This jersey is photomatched to Wayne Gretzky’s final NHL career game at Madison Square Garden on April 18, 1999. Inside the rear collar is the “Starter” manufacturer’s tag with player number “27” written in black marker. Below is the size “54-R” strip tag. The large “Penguin” patch appears on front. Player number “27” appears on the back and on both sleeves. Player name “KOVALEV” appears across the back on a white nameplate. All numbers and letters are done in black on yellow tackle twill. At the rear outer right tail are the “Starter” and “NHL” embroidered logos. The fight strap has been removed. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows excellent use. Accompanied by a LOA from Casey Samuelson as well as a team LOA.
