Nicknamed “A.D.” for “All Day”, Adrian Peterson was named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. In 2010, he became the fifth fastest player to run for 5,000 yards, doing so in his 51st game. Peterson amassed 2,314 all-purpose yards from scrimmage in 2012 and received the NFL MVP Award and the AP NFL Offensive Player of the Year Award. Peterson wore this jersey on December 5, 2010 in a game against the Buffalo Bills where he racked up 107 yards and three touchdowns on 16 carries. The tails of this shirt are hemmed straight across the bottom with an elastic hem and no manufacturer’s tags remaining. Inside the rear collar is a white strip tag with “10-44 L”. Player number “28” appears on the front, back and on both shoulders in white tackle twill with a yellow embroidered border. Player name “PETERSON” appears across the back in white tackle twill on and purple nameplate. The sleeves are custom with an elastic spandex hem and each feature the Reebok logo patch. At the V-neck is the “NFL Equipment” logo shield with adjacent “VIKINGS” embroidered. At the left chest is the team “50 Year” patch. At the rear collar is the team “Viking” patch. The jersey is sans manufacturer’s tagging, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows outstanding use. Other than what is mentioned, there appear to be no further alterations of any kind.
