During his long professional career, Emmitt Smith became the NFL's all-time rushing leader, breaking the record formerly held by Walter Payton, and played for three Super Bowl-winning Dallas Cowboys teams. Smith is the only running back to ever win a Super Bowl championship, the NFL Most Valuable Player award, the NFL rushing crown, and the Super Bowl Most Valuable Player award all in the same season (1993). Smith led the league in rushing and won the Super Bowl in the same year three times (1992, 1993, and 1995). He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2010. The shirt is sans manufacturer’s tagging. Inside the rear collar is a strip tag with “99-46”. Player number “22” appears on the front, back and on both shoulders. Player name “E. SMITH” appears across the back on a white nameplate. All numbers and letters are screened on in blue. Each sleeve is custom with an elastic spandex hem and featured the Nike swoosh. At the V-neck is the “NFL” logo shield. The jersey is sans manufacturer’s tagging, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows appropriate use. Other than what is mentioned, there appear to be no further alterations of any kind.
