A member of both the college and professional football halls of fame, he was ranked by NFL Top 10 as the most elusive runner in NFL history. Averaging over 1,500 rushing yards per season, Sanders left the game just 1,457 yards short of being first place on the list for the NFL all-time rushing record at that time. This jersey was worn on October 22, 1995 at RFK Stadium vs. the Washington Redskins. On the left front tail is the “Reebok” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and jersey size “44”. Adjacent is the year “95” strip tag. Player number “20” appears on the front, back and on both sleeves in white on grey tackle twill. Player name “B. SANDERS” appears across the back in white tackle twill block letters on a light blue nameplate. Each sleeve is custom opened and features the Reebok logo patch. There is paint on the sleeves and shoulders possibly from the RFK field. At the V-neck is the official “NFL” logo shield which has been cut down the middle to open the neck further. The jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows excellent use. Other than what is mentioned, there appear to be no further alterations of any kind.
