This shirt was worn by Brees on December 23, 2007 when Drew Brees was 27/42 for 284 yards. Brees is a two time NFC MVP, seven time Pro Bowl selection and led the Saints to their first Super Bowl Championship in Super Bowl XLIV, winning the game’s MVP Award. The tails of this shirt are hemmed straight across the bottom with an elastic hem and no manufacturer’s tags remaining. Inside the rear collar is a white strip tag with “07-46 S”. Adjacent are two “Prova” tags with “XA1EFC562E”. Player number “9” appears on the front, back and on both shoulders. Player name “BREES” appears across the back on a black nameplate. All numbers and letters are done in bronze on white tackle twill. The sleeves are custom with an elastic spandex hem and each feature the team “Fleur-de-Lis” logo along with the Reebok logo patch. At the V-neck is the “NFL Equipment” logo shield. At the right chest is the Captain’s “C” with one gold star embroidered. The jersey is sans manufacturer’s tagging, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion, shows appropriate use. Other than what is mentioned, there appear to be no further alterations of any kind.
